We are very happy to announce the creation of the Kyoko Arai Fund, which will be used to fund annual HEAR US (Helping Elevate and Recapitalize Underserved Stories) Awards at NYU Tisch.
In making this award, we hope to encourage diverse voices and stories in the film industry.
We are finally opening our LA Classes this November.
The detailed dates are still to be determined, but we will post more info as soon as they are confirmed. Please stay tuned!
Our main Dojo in Japan, Geido TATE Hatoryu Takase-dojo is celebrating its 50th Anniversary this year.
As part of the celebration, there will be an event combined with Masatsugu Takase's memorial performance, screening 2 of late Masatsugu Takase's films, and showing ”100 Slashes" performance.
